I'll show you how you can update Bridge with an alternate add on called the Adobe Output Module. Once that's done I'll share with you some of my favorite time saving techniques.

We'll take a look at some time lapse files and I'll show you how to quickly preview a time lapse animation as well as a motion graphics piece and how you can even use Adobe Bridge to browse animation presets that are included with After Effects for things like animated typography or complex background creation and we'll even take a look at audio files.

This will include how to preview video files so you can quickly play them back whether you're working with DSLR video or professional formats. We'll explore the use for video and animation as well. Of course Adobe Bridge isn't just for image files.

We'll also talk about saving develop settings so you can reuse them on future jobs and I'll walk you through some cool HDR workflows and panoramic workflows of taking multiple raw files and combining them together to make a better more powerful image. Maybe if you have several shots from the same shoot that need to be corrected in a similar way. This will include how to develop images, how to make sure that you do a batch process. This will give you an idea how to quickly process images, mostly raw files, but it can be used on non-raw image types as well. While we're inside of Adobe Bridge we'll also take a look at Adobe Camera Raw, which can be easily accessed from within Bridge. We'll even explore how to publish some of your best images to Adobe Stock so you can submit them and start to monetize your work.

As you work on a project you can quickly add things to a collection making it easy to keep your favorite shots, images, or assets right at your fingertips. This is a virtual playlist that makes it easy to organize material across several drives. On top of this I'll show you one of my favorite aspects, which is a collection. We'll explore stacks, which make it easy to organize similar content whether you're working with panoramic photos, time lapse sequences, HDRs, or other type of material that needs to be organized so you can keep shots that belong together in a group and we'll make sure you know how to mange your cache and keep everything organized so that you get the best performance from Bridge. We'll do a review session quickly taking a look at several assets and apply rankings so it's easier to pick the best images or shots. This will include things like using metadata so it's easier to find your files as well as add metadata. Helping you take all of your media for all Adobe applications and get it in better shape. We'll then move on to getting organized, which is a great aspect of Bridge. We'll go over what types of files Bridge can see as well as how to bring in material from a camera card or device. This will include things like renaming, moving, organization, and we'll talk about all sorts of aspects there.

Any changes you make are actually reflected on the hard drive itself. It's very different than Lightroom in that it's not a catalog. Then we'll talk about how Bridge actually manages media on your drives. We'll also talk about how you can access Bridge from other applications within the Adobe Creative Cloud and as well as how to use things like workspaces to stay organized. First we'll explore how to use Bridge, what is its purpose, and really how is it different from using other applications like Lightroom. In this course there's a lot of great things we're going to cover. Bridge is incredibly useful and it's been around for a long time, but not everybody uses it as efficiently as they could. It makes it easier to find your stuff, browse, navigate, and even save time with several batch operations. You see Adobe Bridge is a great companion application that works with all of Adobe software. Hi my names, Rich Harrington, and in this course we're going to explore how to use Adobe Bride and whether you're a graphic designer, a photographer or a video professional you should get a lot out of this course.
